The tent tarpaulin heat-sealing technology realizes molecular-level welding of materials through high-frequency medium heating, which has the advantages of automation, high efficiency and high sealing. Its technical details and application scenarios are as follows:
Technical details
Principle of high-frequency medium heating
The equipment uses a high-frequency electric field (27.12MHz or 40.68MHz) to polarize the tarpaulin molecules and generate heat through friction, and achieves welding under a pressure of 0.3-0.5MPa. The welding temperature is adjusted according to the material characteristics (such as 180-220℃ for PVC), the welding speed can reach 15 meters/minute, the heat-affected zone is less than 1mm, and the tensile strength of the weld is ≥35MPa.
Automation control and walking mechanism
The equipment is equipped with electric slides and linear modules driven by servo motors to realize automatic walking of the load-bearing plate and precise positioning of the hot pressing plate. During the welding process, the flattening roller simultaneously applies pressure to the tarpaulin surface to ensure flatness, and the film tearing mechanism automatically peels off the PET protective film to reduce manual intervention.
Material adaptability and process optimization
Supports welding of various tarpaulin materials such as PVC, scraper cloth, swimming pool film, waterproof roll material, etc., with compatible thickness of 0.5-3mm. Through multi-point limit devices and bottom spring clamping mechanism, the combined fabric is stably positioned during hot pressing to avoid welding deviation.
Application scenarios
Welding of large tent tarpaulins
Used for tarpaulin splicing of large tents such as stadiums and exhibition centers, the welds can withstand extreme weather tests such as strong winds and heavy rains to ensure structural stability. For example, the Baikal large tent tarpaulin is welded with a high-frequency machine, and the welds of the 480 kg giant tarpaulin are indestructible after welding.
Industrial and civil tarpaulin manufacturing
Applied to the manufacture of truck tarpaulins, warehouse awnings, disaster relief tents and other products, the welding efficiency is more than 3 times higher than that of traditional sewing processes, and 100% waterproof sealing can be achieved. For example, the tarpaulin heat sealing machine can weld 15 meters of tarpaulin in one minute, significantly improving production efficiency.
Outdoor facilities and landscape projects
The tarpaulin used for outdoor facilities such as membrane structure carports and landscape membrane structures is welded to make the surface of the tarpaulin smooth and wrinkle-free, with both aesthetics and durability. For example, the tarpaulin made by the heat-sealing splicing machine has a smooth and firm splicing effect without delamination.
